What is happening to New Zealand?

Hi may name is jane. I used to live in New Zealand before I moved to Australia. This is what is happening in New Zealand Community Development.

I was very shocked when I did my research about Youth Gangs in New Zealand. I used to live in New Zealand before migrated in Australia, in the Manukau area. In those days it was very safe to walk at night on your own, even living your own car on the road there will be no problem.

But now the government are running programmes to combat youth gangs in New Zealand. As far as I know at that time was only Maori gangs, but now its so many.

How does families of these young people helped their children and prevent them from joining gangs?

Do parents need more parenting skills or do they need more education to help them with the up-bringing of their children

Well, we don't know what the next generation will be and what activities will they be involved in the future.
